Wellness seminar: incorporating thalassotherapy into your programme

Are you looking to organise a wellness seminar on the Basque Coast? Thalassotherapy can be seamlessly incorporated into the programme – between work sessions, at the end of the day or during a dedicated half-day – to provide a genuine break without disrupting the overall schedule.

In Anglet, overlooking the ocean, Atlanthal brings together meeting rooms, accommodation, dining facilities, marine treatments and wellness areas all on a single site. Massages, baths, access to the Lagoon or wellness rituals: discover why you should incorporate thalassotherapy into your seminar, which treatments to prioritise, how to combine them with your meetings, and what relaxing activities to plan around the resort.

Why include thalassotherapy in a wellness seminar?

In a seminar with a Basque flavour Already focused on wellbeing, thalassotherapy adds an extra dimension. It goes beyond gentle activities or simple moments of relaxation, offering a more comprehensive experience centred on releasing tension, restoring movement and unwinding.

At a team level, thalassotherapy also creates a more informal setting, conducive to spontaneous conversations and a friendly atmosphere. With a rotating schedule of treatments, free time in the aquatic areas or shared group experiences, everyone can enjoy the programme at their own pace, whilst sharing the same break from the daily routine. Thalassotherapy thus becomes a central theme of the seminar, promoting both individual wellbeing and team dynamics.

Which treatments should you choose, depending on the experience you’re looking for?

Whether it’s to offer genuine relaxation after meetings, create a sensory interlude or extend the maritime experience of your stay… At Atlanthal, each treatment can serve a different purpose. The key is to choose the right format to suit the pace of the seminar and the time available.

  • To relieve tension: the Belharra massage
Best booked in the late afternoon or after a day’s work. It offers a deeply relaxing break and can be booked on its own or as part of a treatment programme.
  • For a complete thalassotherapy experience: the multi-jet bath and the application of sea mud
A treatment that is particularly well suited to a dedicated half-day. It allows you to enjoy, in turn, the sea water, the warmth and the marine active ingredients.
  • For a more sensory experience: treatments at the Institut Beautémer
Massages, facials, body treatments and wellness rituals can be booked à la carte, depending on your preferences and the time you have available.
  • To bring the team together for some time spent together: access to the Lagoon
The heated seawater pool, massage jets, microbubble beds, sauna and steam room offer a flexible group experience, where everyone can enjoy the facilities at their own pace.
  • To combine several treatments without spending a whole day on them: the half-day treatment programme
A treatment combining a multi-jet bath, a marine mud application and a Belharra massage makes it possible to incorporate a full thalassotherapy session into an already packed seminar programme.
